Your 'day to day'
You will work as a 12 months' fixed term contractor to support Philip Morris Electronics (Shenzhen) (PMES). PMES operates as a subsidiary of Philip Morris International, Inc. in Shenzhen. You may be required to be engaged by a 3rd party service provider to be assigned to work at PMES.
As part of the Design Verification team in Quality function, you will plan, coordinate and execute activities for the Design Verification of our electronic devices through the application of scientific/engineering and project management skills. You will support Design Verification (DV) Project Management you are responsible to develop product characterization, verification strategy, verification test protocol and execution.
. Perform and review technical documents (test specifications, qualification reports, design verification plans, design verification reports).
. Work with Product Development team on testing feedback and risk assessment.
. Work with Firmware Development team to define test methods and protocols.
. Perform knowledge management via data compilation, review and storage in line with equivalent accreditation authority requirements.
We are looking for:
. Bachelor degree in Electronics/ Electronics Engineering, or relevant in Firmware/ Software.
. 3-5 years of relevant experience, preferably in electronic design and/or product testing at module level as well as finished consumer products. Relevant industries would be: consumer electronics products manufacturer, medical device manufacturer, scientific instrument manufacturer, automation products/services provider, design consultancy.
. Some experience in development of testing plan, methods and protocols.
. Good command of English is a must
