Job Summary:We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior IT Project Manager with specialization in end user environment to join our IT team. The Junior IT Project Manager will be responsible for managing and coordinating IT projects related to end user systems, applications, and devices. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of end user technologies, excellent project management skills, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
Proven experience in IT project management, preferably with a focus on end user environment.
Familiarity with end user systems, applications, and devices, including desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and productivity software.
Strong project management skills, including the ability to plan, organize, and manage multiple tasks and priorities.
Knowledge of project management methodologies and tools.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with stakeholders and team members.
Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to work independently and take ownership of assigned projects.
Familiarity with ITIL (Information Technology Infrastructure Library) framework and best practices is a plus.
Experience with agile project management methodologies is a plus.
Relevant certifications such as Project Management Professional (PMP) or Certified associate in project management (CAPM) are advantageous.
Proficiency in project management software and collaboration tools.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope, goals, and deliverables related to end user systems and applications.
Develop project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and task assignments.
Coordinate and communicate with cross-functional teams, including IT support, infrastructure, software development, and vendors.
Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement appropriate mitigation strategies.
Ensure adherence to project schedules and budgets, tracking and reporting project status to stakeholders.
Manage project documentation, including project charters, requirements, specifications, and change requests.
Facilitate meetings and workshops to gather requirements, clarify project objectives, and resolve issues.
Coordinate and manage vendor relationships, including procurement and contract negotiations.
Collaborate with IT support teams to plan and execute end user system deployments, upgrades, and migrations.
Assist in testing and quality assurance activities to ensure successful implementation of end user systems.
Develop and deliver training materials and user documentation to support end user adoption and proficiency.
Provide post-implementation support and follow-up to address any project-related issues or enhancements.
Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in end user technologies, recommending improvements and innovative solutions.
Adhere to project management best practices and organizational policies and procedures.
